| After the coldest winter
for a decade, we're getting ready for this year's crop of salads
and vegetables. The fields have been ploughed and the
greenhouses tidied up. We have
planted our tomatoes, aubergines and leeks in the greenhouse and
will take good care of them for you over the coming weeks.
This year, we will also be looking into
using native insects to control some of the pesky bugs which
damage our plants. If successful, this will allow us to grow food
without the use of insecticides, which we believe is much healthier.
Don't forget that we now sell a range of
daily newspapers as well as the most delicious fresh bread you
are likely to find.
We hope to see you at the farm shop soon.
